The way Beyond was received by some critics is seriously very alarming.

It's a very good experience. That's what it should be judged on.

Remember, these are the same bozos that gave 9.0s and 10s to Assassins Creed 3, so...

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

That’s why it's hard to take the critics seriously. Or meta in general.

I agree, given enough time I could probably think of a movie BTS is better than.

Truly an awesome game. My Highlight of the year so far. Yes i fin d that game better than God of War Ascension and the Last of Us.

That isn't saying too much considering most movies suck these days.  Reminds me of this...

This video ignores how limited your options are, it requires no skill to play, and I was disspointed about how little my actions affect the story. That's what makes it more movie than game.

Its a unique game and I appreciate it for that. But as whole, it was a boring experience.

Beyond two souls is an experience unlike most of the games which are meant to be Fun to Play. But, gaming is not just only about Fun and it can provide an experience which we can feel and remember, unlike Fun which is forgotten quickly. I'm tired of playing games only meant to be fun and i wanted something different which I can enjoy and feel like an experience that came from Heavy Rain, Last of Us and now Beyond even better. People who likes experience are far less these days so that's why this game got mixed reviews.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

According to cage in an interview that there are some people who hates Video games because its too difficult to understand controls for them to play (or) don't like the game since its just only for fun(they have their fun in other things). So, cage wanted this game to be able to play without any gaming skills(to bring those people to game and tell that game is not just to pass time or fun but it can be an experience more than a Movie could provide) and provide an experience more than Movie with some control(experience is why people watch movies mostly). This is kind of game meant for everyone who has gaming skills(there are far less people in this category) and no gaming skills(there are more people in this category) to enjoy this. I know this game cannot be enjoyed by the people who look for fun in every minute with gameplay doing something and also they compare this game to the things they already know even though this game is differnet from those and trying to achieve some unique which people are not used to in games so far(for most of them).

That's 99% of games. The only games I can think of that comes close to offering outcomes based on the things you do is Star Ocean: The Second Story, and Shadow of Destiny. Other games that say your choices make a difference are pretty shallow when you get right down to what actually happens in the game.
