I have Y but no idea on when I'll see Larvitar, I only know the pokes up to Route 13

Finally have my second team member, Adamant Honedge (current bulbasaur is temp until I can breed a better one)

Chespin over 100 Atk and def (def being better)

fenniken over 100 Sp Atk and great speed (100 around)

froakie crazy speed (at least 110) and 100 (around) sp Atk

Smogon's guessimations 

HP/Attack/Defense/Special Attack/Special Defense/Speed

Chespin  90/100/120/80/70/70

Froakie   80/90/75/100/75/120

Fenniken's is still debated, but its for sure has high Special Attack (higher than Froakie) and Special Defense and decent speed (above Chespin but below Froakie)

Thanks tbone and crazy man. Still torn between Fenniken and Froakie. Anyway I have like 10 close friends that also bought the game so they could breed and trade with me. My brother took Chespin and my closest friend took Froakie so I think I'll go with Fenniken (Even though I want Froakie more).

After you beat the E4, you get the starter your strong against.

So if you go Froakie you'll get Fenniken eventually.
