Froakie washes away the competition! 50 27.03%

Well Xerneas was ridiculously easy to catch, for a moment I was thinking of using the master ball but I decided to try with other balls first, thank god I didn't use the master ball, I caught it on my second throw with an ultra ball.

And FINALLY a boss battle where I had to restart, I refused to use Xerneas and that's probably the reason I had a hard time for the first time in this game, that Mega Gyrados is lethal.

The adventure/story part of the game is not meant to be hard at all. The challenge n difficulty comes from battling against real players.

Well, some people like to find a challenge in their single player game! I might have done the same (limiting xp/pokemon), were I not in a rush to get to all the good stuff.

Finally beat the 50 win streak boss in Super Singles! Nearly lost in the 40's to freggin Cresselia, dat Double Team evasion cheese... had to wait for her to use all her PP and hung on as she struggled to death (I have no heals!). Seems like all the Pokemon up there are legendary now, so my tanky deeps team will probably need some changing. Will probably run into a wall I can't break.

Anyway, I can probably throw up a rag tag team of 6 now if people really want to battle a bit later (after I eat). Won't be enough for the better players, but, who knows

Caught a Trapinch because of damn Arena Trap and a lucky Strength strike that put it down to a sliver.

I disagree. The single player should also be challenging, and even being underlevel (I'm usually 5-4 levels behind most trainer Pokemon (sometimes the same if the trainer have more than 2 Pokemon)) I can still 1 shot most of them. The difficulty level is seriously the most disappointing aspect of the game, I know Pokemon isn't known for being a hard game, but it was never THIS easy.

Then those people need to look into other games! Plenty of them out there!

Yes, it was always easy! That's part of the appeal, a game anyone can beat! I never said it should or shouldn't be challenging, infact I would like it to be harder, but at the same time I understand that the games are made that way on purpose because that's how most people want it to be, that's all I was getting at.

Hope you enjoy your Protean Frogadiers .

I'd like to enjoy them too! FC: 0731-5734-9143

Also, just finished making a not-ideal-but-usuable battle team, consisting of Pachirisu, Venasaur, Aegislash, Blaziken, Togekiss, and Greninja, a.k.a. the same pocket monsters I played through the adventure with, only I've fully optimized their EVs and movesets. So with that team, I managed to go 13-2 in online battles today, which is not bad at all I'd say! Now here's a code to watch one my battles!

I'll add you as soon as I get home later today.

What's your FS type?

Got back to Lumiose and spent the day puttering around, trying to increase my "style" and getting mons other than Azumarill friendlier in Pokemonamie.

Tonight, perhaps, Rhyhorn will bulldoze the gym.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Do I need a gym badge to use Brick Brake outside of battle? is that move that lets me break the stones in the Terminus cave?
