Random question. Is there any benefit on giving a tip? Kind of a stupid question I know, but I'm just curious

Nothing confirmed yet on the tip, I believe. I always tip $1000 anyways, who knows

Beat Grant. His amaura threw Thunder Wave which led to my Scraggy later getting killed by Tyrunt (wasted turn on Paralyze Heal moved to its advantage), but Azumarill was able to simply outweigh it

Now i'm focused on training Rhyhorn and Scraggy to be in line with the rest of the team. Caught an Eevee today too.

You're not using your starters? I'm generally not too fond of them, but somehow Bulbasaur (now Venasaur) has really grown on me. Mega Evolution probably had something to do with it. :L

Oh, i'm using both of them, just that neither would work well against Grant, since Dragon resists grass and fire doesn't work good against either.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I have a Doublade level 55 that wants to evolve and have just gotten my 7th badge, besides the mini game where can i get one?

A Dusk Stone?  In Terminus Cave, I think you need to use the Dowsing Machine.

Found a new review for the game (always looking to see what people say about it) and he nails most of the good and bad about the game. Gave it a 4.5/5. Not bad.

In case you didn't know, I have a comic book called Guardians. I'm the writer/creator of it, and we have four issues out right now, with our fifth coming out soon!

We're also doing a Patreon right now for the comic, and I'd appreciate any and all help in getting it funded. If 56 people pledged $3 per issue, we'll be funded

To pledge, click here. Please join Team Guardians!

Been breeding while surfing the web all day...

If anyone is breeding 5 perf IV Pokemon, let me know. I'll have a couple soon enough, goes much easier when sharing w/ others.

Im working on Garchomp and already have 3 with 5 perfect IVs (none have SpecAtk). 2 of them have egg moves Outrage and Iron Head. still breeding though coz I want the HA

From someone who is a Pokemon noob. What are EV's exactly? I just read the Serebii explanation but I still don't 100% get it. I mean this is supposed to increase the Pokemon base stats, but I don't see that taking effect when I do super training. Serebii says that the EVs don't take effect until lvl 100, is this true? If it is then I won't even bother doing any super training since I don't plan to make any of my Pokemon reach lvl 100

Leveling it after you've maxed your EV's will start showing the fruits of your labor.

The old way was once it was lv 100 you couldn't EV train, or it wouldn't take effect until you deposited him into your PC.

Now a days you can get EV's at lv 1 or 100, doesn't matter, and EV changes are applied at level ups.

Has anyone tried the Battle Institute yet? What was your first try score? Got Hyper rank with my EV trained Delphox, Crobat and Garchomp. Couldn't get higher because the fourth round Terrakion destroyed my team, need a Bullet Punch user.

First time I got super, i used the in game mons but I lost one of the matches, the run was bad in general.  Greninja was holding lucky egg of all things, and Lucario could only Aura sphere and quick attack.

Ever since I got Elite status the highest is 5939, presumably 6000 is the required for the next title.

Do the pokes you face vary or the teams stay the same?

As far as I can tell they don't repeat but I've done it maybe 5 times so there is still the possibility but it is certainly more varied than the other facilities.

I'm curious about that team you faced.  I had to deal with a cobalion, tornadus and articuno team, was yours something similar they are all part of trios so it seemed a bit off.

Sadly only saw Terrakion, which was running a LO and a Jolly + 252 EV + 31 IV speed set. It was enough to outspeed my 'chomp and OHKO with Stone Edge, so I was completely outclassed (was running Crobat, Garchomp and Delphox). Cobalion would have been a much easier thing to deal with. Funny enough, that was on the fourth battle and on the fifth I decimated the trainer team.
