Heh, makes it sound much better when you say "685% jump" instead of moved from 1,000 units to 9,000... But still something I guess. It's at least encouraging to know that a strong enough Wii U title will push hardware, even one that is just a remake.
I don't think this bump will last very long though..

that 9k is more than ps360 do in regular weeks so it's a great start.
I doubt that this sales will drop that much again, becuase of the Lego City Bundle, that comes in UK on October the 18th and in Germany on the 25th. Plus, Wii Party U and Sonic Lost World are coming out.

it may or may not drop next week but after that, unlikely.

ps3 gamers didnt mind b/c as you say they'll buy the game for the console they own, if you bolded a few words more from biglittle's post you'll see that "almost 80% of the people who buy Wii U will get either PS4/Xbone' the key word being either if you have either a ps4 or XB1 and wiu the ps4 or XB1 version of the said MP SW will be purchased for either ps4 or XB1 for the majority if not all PS4/Xb1 and WiiU owners
OT sales will most likely keep slowly increasing from here on out do to the season and SW releases but 8k in UK and < 100k WW for this time isnt noteworthy or a sign of great things to come

i dont agree with the 80% but in biglittle's post as awhole and the message hes putting out regardless of what the % is Wii U will continue to struggle to get 3rd party games, and wiiu and ps4/xb1 owners will more than likely not buy 3rd party sw for wiiu thats is also on PS4 and xb1
yes i believe vgcs final data for week ending 10/7/13 wiiu will be below 100k globally even with this news

Happy for Nintendo because they need sales but sad because it'll likely mean more freakin' remakes. Seriously people, the industry doesn't need old games, it needs new ones. Stop rewarding this stuff lol.
Nintendomination in the UK!!! Not as loud as Anarchy in the UK, but, well, each generation gets the punk it deserves.
