If you don't care about 3D, buy a 2DS and maybe you'll have enough left for the XBoxOne, even if it's just with one launch title. But I personally love the 3D. And with the variety of games available on the 3DS by the time you consider the eShop, the Virtual Console and then the regular releases, I'm surprised Pokémon is the only thing that interests you. My brothers and I bought our 3DSes February last year with 5 games. Non of us has finished more than 3 of the games (though we have each bought a few software online) and it's not because we don't play them. One of my brothers (A) already clocked 200 hours on Fire Emblem on my other brother's (B) 3DS before A decided to buy and download the game on his own 3DS because to him, it was still worth the full price after he had already played for 200 hours.
And that's just one game. I think I've made my point. The ball is in your court

Well... there is an easy solution... Look at the Xbox One's gamelist and see if ur gonna like any of them cause thats all u will pretty much get for a while since new console usually means a year of no AAA games apart from indie and some third party... (Also remember you can get most of those games on current gen anyway)

Than look at the 3ds gamelist and remember that there are more games to come for the 3ds in the next few months and 2014 so... 3ds sounds better unless u can't afford to get another console in the next year and a half

I'd say get your XB1, then wait until you have money to get a 3DS or 2DS to save more money

I am not very familiar with the 3ds lineup,thus the point of this thread since i know there are many nintendo fans here that would love to explain me the how awesome the 3ds lineup is thanks to you i will add fire emblem into consideration.

I would go with the xbone. Gotta have that next gen system! Sounds like you want the xbone more anyways. 2ds is cheaper although aesthetically unpleasing/ugly compared to the 3ds if you care about that stuff. You're only playing pokemon too anyways.

ugh, the negativity here lol. On topic... I'd say flip a coin, either option would kick ass, probably moreso the xbox one, but waiting it could could see you a price drop... but the 3DS could drop too... touch call... only a quarter could give you a fair answer :p

I agree with the people here, buying a PS4 saves you 100 dollars to spend on a 2DS. You just have to find that extra 20 dollars.
