The Wii U version is not gimped. It is the full game and has even extra functions for the Gamepad. Only the DLC is missing.

DLC or not. After played AC3 on the Wii U I can not go back playing this kind of game on TV only. It is fantastic to get the TV free of HUD and place it on the Gamepad.

Well, that's still better than Deus Ex being $20 more on Wii U.

I can only conclude that theres some issue with Nintendo and the Eshop regarding DLC.

Probably something Nintendo should look into, as its not really working out. Its not the first time this happens.

Either that or Nintendo really doesnt want to support the practice of not shipping whole games and breaking pieces of DLC out of the game to sell separatly further on.

Strange, but for AC3 that issue was non-exsistant...

Well this is certainly the best way to make people buy your game Ubisoft! I will probably don't bother getting it on Wii U, or my PS3. I played AC 1,2 and 3 without breaks. I think I'v had enough xD.

I've tried DLC for FE:Awakening and SMT4. Both worked fine. Eshop isn't the problem. It's the 3rd parties sabotaging their own games just to spite Nintendo and their kiddy customers.

You could conclude that it's Ubisoft who doesn't deem profitable enough to develop DLC for their Wii U customers and would rather give them the middle finger. Or yes, you could also conclude that it's Nintendo's fault (i.e. Eshop cost too high compared to other platforms).

I'll let you guess which conclusion I favor.

Just the excuse Nintendo fans need when the game fails to sell. The same fans that called CoD sales on Wii proof third parties games can sell, despite missing the DLC.
