It's interesting that this poll's results are the opposite of what they got on Kotaku. As of right now:

Nvidia or AMD?

Nvidia 58.09% (13,527 votes)
AMD 30.86% (7,187 votes)
Both 7% (1,631 votes)
I don't play PC games 3.11% (725 votes)
Other 0.93% (217 votes)

Total Votes: 23,287

Most of the comments for NVidia cite poor drivers/support on AMD's side.

I would say AMD has mostly caught up on that front. They both have their share of problems though.

That is what annoys me so much!  I switched to AMD and had a FAR better driver experience, and none of my AMD friends have ever had any problems.  I realize our experience is not everyone elses', but come on if NONE of us have the problems it can't be as big a deal as some people like to pretend...

Keyword marked.

AMD had no critical driver problems since at least a year now. People are saying that for the sake of justifying themselves.

The problem is if people have had problems with their drivers on earlier cards, regardless of whether it is still the case now, they are much less likely to go back to AMD. It's a matter of trust. Once lost, it's hard to regain.

Not true.
One of the big problems with AMD cards is frame latency at the moment.

I thought that was recently fixed.

Yeah I've never really seen this, only issue I've ever really had with my AMD cards was that when I Got X800 Pro, it kept crashing on Doom 3. It was fixed with a driver update though. I've gone about 8 years now without any issues that were caused by GPUs. It still ran great when I sold it to a relative, no idea how it's doing now though.

My 3850 lasted around 5 years, it only died 2 months after I sold the PC it was in to a friend. :D

My 5850 is still going strong, I even had a horrible fail involving water (my case has slots for fans at top, glass of water actually spilled in there. Screen went black...I thought, ok...its toast. Took it out, cleaned and dried it. Put back in, BOOM it still works and has done so for allmost 2 years now.

Yeah but that's only in crossfire, and I wouldn't call that a driver problem.  If anything it is a design oversight they are fixing...

Not just crossfire.
It's been a massive complaint for years, literally.
