if DK looks this good in such a short time after E3, i wonder how X and Bayonetta look like by now, and how they'll look like next year at launch X-X

Wow. That looks amazing. And amazingly fun. I've been critical of Wii U, but with software like this youd be hard pressed not to be enticed to buy one.



Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:


If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Well, that makes me want the game even more! I loved the dificulty in DKCR and how it was balanced out by generous lives and the Super Guide. Heck, I even used the Super Guide once to show me how to get past a certain part of a certain level, then shortly went back into the level and beat it.

Looking really good! I can't wait to get my hands on this one. DKCR is one of my favorite games of the gen and I'm hoping this one surpasses it!

I only wished they showed us the unedited version with Jose dying and dying, cursing and cursing even more AVGN style (little beebs when he says the F word again and again). Nintedo reps getting more and more frustrated with him and asking to take over the controls so they wouldn't have to spend the whole day there. Jose saying "nonono! i can do it!" only to die a millisecond after and so on. Would be hilariousXD



Wish i saw some more use of the gamepad perhaps..

I doubt it would be used for much, since the game is designed around multiple control options. Same with Pikmin 3.

The separate difficulty modes are a great addition, that way if I get frustrated I can switch it to easy and not have to resort to the superguide.



If anyone has played DKCR 3D, can you swap the difficulty on the fly, or do you choose it when you create a file?
