What's Omni and Delta six?

People getting sick is the real problem here.

I can barely look at the 3DS 3D on.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

is it essential to wear a wet suit whilst playing with the occulus?

Both Delta Six and Omni are less than the Oculus... About $1,250 for all 3. I would imagine a decent $1500 PC with dual GPUs would be more than enough to handle it everything.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Haha, everyone envies me. Let it be known that any member of VGChartz is welcome to come stay in my penthouse for gaming, surfing and partying if they're ever in South Africa

OT: I can't overstate how big of an impression this technology, albeit unfinished(!), has made on me. I'm really, really hoping Sony gets the VR thing going for PS4!

Awesome man!  I'll be right over.  Just give me a little time to swim the Altantic.

And I even like Honyebush Tea.

Seriously, contrats on trying it.  I can't wait myself.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Sounds great, I would really love to play some indie games on it, Journey, Flower, Antichamber (that would really mess up your mind :) or have a relaxing stroll in Dear Esther or Proteus. And sims ofcourse, FSX cockpit view with the HD version please. Star citizen, race games, Wipeout first person view!

A new era for 3D gaming, I hope it comes true this time.

Just wanted to inform you that - thanks to this thread - I spent half the day considering if I should buy the developer version of the Oculus Rift.

I don't know why, but up until I read your thread, I was somehow under the impression that the developer version was somewhere around 1600$, and that only the upcoming retail version would cost about 300$.

At 1600$, I still had a very good reason not to buy one. But now that I know it's already available at a very affordable price.... it's suddenly so much harder to resist the desire to buy one!

Let us know if you do it!

(I did give my opinion that I'd rather wait for the retail version, but if $300 isn't that much too you then I think it's not a bad way to spend your money ;)  )
