Now you and him comparing sales of SS is laughable in itself as it required an add-on and was released at the very end of wii's life (When it was mostly dead). So the *bigger install base* excuse is absolutely irrevelant because most people had already moved on to something else then wii.

1. It is bad, just deal with it like how I deal with the sales for uncharted golden abyss is bad. Any title with a AA budget that doesn't get over a million is a flop and those are included.

2. That's why uncharted 3 outsold skyward sword on a smaller userbase. Hahaha your making this too easy.

You forgot about twilight princess? Which sold over 6.8mil copies on wii. 

And did uncharted 3 require an add-on to play the game like SS with motion plus?

Drakes deception still outsold skyward sword. A franchise is only as good as it's last game regardless and this is even more sad considering nintendo is having problems trying to make a successor that can outsell twilight princess.

If we can trust VGchartz preorders, it should do over 100k in US alone. Europe is kinda a wild card so sales could be poor there, Ill go ahead and say 170k and when u add Japan that puts it about 200k first week WW which is pretty decent considering there Is a bundle and digital version has been available for 2 weeks.

i think uncharted made a good name for itself. It is now One of Sony big AAA hitters. That said LoZ OoT on 3ds a remake, not even a new game sold 3.15mil+ while uncharted GA sold a million :P! But kinda not fair comparing lol

Take Kingdom hearts HD for example it had 162k pre orders and its first week sales were 177k.

Tales of Xillia had 166k pre orders and its first week sales were 98k

Pikmin 3 85k pre orders and its first week as 103k

Dragons crown 77k pre orders first week 97k

Project X Zone 45k pre orders first week 55k

The list goes on and on.

pikmin 3 was at 60k pre orders US. first week sales for america (not US) were 115k. since we are using the whole europe, why not use all america too?

Oh, I never said that uncharted wasn't a big AAA game and one of Sony's biggest sellers. But saying that it is bigger then Zelda is what it is, laughable.

And that's why no one cares about you're opinion. And yes, releasing at the end of a generation does make a difference. Let's see how Grand turismo sells on the dying ps3 (with the release of the PS4) compared to it's previous installments. This is where you will see how it is not useless.
