Is their any WiiU gameplay to watch?
Seems the Wii U is actually quite capable when talented devs put actual effort into it.
Sadly, I find driving sims to be unbearably boring, so I can't justify buying it. A shame, as I would have liked Slightly Mad for treating Wii U owners right.
It's so nice to have one of these threads happen while Red Dead Redemption is banned and can't derail it.
Looking good, but I will still likely get GT6. Maybe down the line I'll grab this.

Yes, this is kind of my problem as well .

Indeed.
My only concern is that the past games from Slightly Mad Studios (Need for Speed Shift, Shift 2) have been mostly good but not great. Luckily, this game seems to be their own personal project, so I'm sure they are going to put more effort on it.
Please excuse my bad English.
Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Crytek claimed that the X360/PS3 versions of Crysis 3 used DX11 equivalent shaders, just to put this into perspective. And muti-threaded shadow generation isn't exactly a new feature either, GT6 has particle shadows.

The Wii U has some DX10/11 like features, such as geometry shaders.

"We want to make sure as much as is humanly possible can translate from a DX11 variant into a DX9 variant"
also the article is speculative, as in a point were developing was going on and they were experimenting tricks and work arounds to "emulate a similar thing".
I'd like to have an update on which features they successfully mimic'd from dx11 using their wizardry.
We can only imagine what such talented studio could achieve on wii u though. Crysis 3 was canned by EA.
