Forums - Nintendo Discussion - I just bought Xenoblade Chronicles for $63

Yep. Finally caved and bought this game. I never thought this day would come. It's actually in my hands!

I've always bitched about this game ever since GameStop stopped restocking it and prices started rising to unreasonable levels, sometimes even $100 for disc only. This isn't the first time Nintendo has done this. Fire Emblem and Metroid Prime Trilogy come to mind. In case you guys didn't know, recently GameStop has slowly been restocking used copies and it seems like each store has one or two copies on their shelves. It was around $70 about a month ago but I found a store that slashed the price down to $63. This is the price I pay for some games so I figured it would be worth it.

That said, I have high expectations for this game. If you guys are looking for a copy yourselves, now is a good time to look into it! It's possible to get one cheaper on ebay, maybe around $55, but you will have to work for it. =P

Hoping to start this game once I finish the crap load of rpg's I started. Maybe I'll give it a go after Xillia.

Now just wait till X releases and sell it when it shoots up in price.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

If it gets to the point where I would sell the game because it only makes sense to do so, god help us all.

Lucky!  We have EBGames in Canada, not Gamestop and they didn't restock any copies of the game...

It's a good game, enjoy :)

Worth every penny.

I sold mine for $140 after spending over 200 hours playing it. I totally regret doing so. :(

How is it Nintendos fault what Gamestop sets the price of used games at?

Consider yourself lucky. Most people couldn't sell it for $100 after spending as many hours trying to sell it off.
