Lol! Lol! I wonder why PC GPU's use GDDR5 Ram??? Maybe MS should send Nvidia and AMD an email telling them to use Esram instead. Lmfao! MS shill talks up his own product while dismissing the competition without a shred of evidence to back it up with!

You do it all the time.

So no secret sauce? C'mon

About what???? Let me know which ones and I'll post the links to keep you happy?????

Going back to this thread though its clear the PS4 is the better architecture and the GDDR5 Ram is superior to 32mb Esram. If you want proof or something to back it up with then use Google or maybe in your case Bing and type the following:

'developers confirming 50% power difference between PS4 and X1' or something similar. Also search what War Frame dev has to say about the power difference between the two.

Well, i guess i need to cancel my preorder and throw away my GFX card in my computer....

sigh.. how long before for a similar boring article talking about whats more powerful or better on the ps4, such a sad pissing contest. the ps4 will be better to develop for with gddr ram before the day is out.

But eDRAM is best when the programmer know it is there and can fully utilize it. Use of eDRAM in PCs difficult. Even when a developer want to use it they must make code for PCs with or without eDRAM. But eDRAM is perfect for consoles with their standardized hardware.

Modern graphics card use eDRAM to: http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/2265428/intel-haswell-chips-will-have-onpackage-dram-for-cpu-and-gpu

Even a Sony Lead system architect of the PS4 admits that eDRAM gives a performance boost: http://techon.nikkeibp.co.jp/english/NEWS_EN/20130401/274313/?P=2

Who cares the box is just fine how it is no matter what ps4 will turn out to be... I'll be plenty satisfied by what the xb1 will offer game wise... and unless the rest turns out to be worst than on 360, there is no way an irrelevant difference (to me) in hw will make me change my opinion on the superior appeal it has for me and will have for millions of customers.... the only people that truly seem concerned are the one that have no interest in xb1 in the first place... I'll be a Steam Boss One combo owner this gen... which will be the best all around entertainment package hands down this gen outside of pure PC gaming....

It isn't perfect for consoles as theirs only 32MB of it. It then becomes a puzzle to solve and a bottleneck. GDDR5 Ram is the better overall solution!
