PS2 first week sales? you mean japan? cause it only launch in japan first... probably around 600K~700K

The time of release doesn't matter to me. Only the sum of the first week sales for each country.

As far as I know, the first week sum for Wii U was a bit less than a million.

At launch demand matters much less than supply. Both systems will sell out first week.

Lmfao. 6.5 million. XD Not even if it were $250 would it sell that much. At most 1.5 million first week. They said they want to sell out of their first shipment to create demand. Then they'll supply the second shipment for "everyone to buy one during the Holidays". So it might make 6.5 million, but by the end of the fiscal year, which is March 31, 2014. 

i don't have ps2 numbers but i have last/current gen numbers.  these numbers, btw, don't refect "first week" numbers but the cumulative first week across the N. American, Europe, and Japan regions.  this is an important details because systems like the ps3 had very staggered launches.

...as you may now start to realize 6.5M is quite the high bar to set knowing past performance of other systems.  2M would be to me the absolute ceiling imo and don't forget that would still include japan's launch which isn't actually until feburary.

If it were releasing in Japan, on top of the other 32 countries, 6.5M could be a possibility. Pretty small possibility, but there no less. Without Japan though, and only launching in NA it's first couple weeks, I'd say 2-3 million units.

 That seems a bit low, condidering it had well over 1 million preoders back during Gamescom, and Sony has stated that the number has grown significantly since. Plus, with all the factories they've had working while still having trouble matching demand, I'd say the Week 1 sales will be pretty damn good.

It's because you have no idea at all about launch or sales numbers. Did you really expect to just guess a random number without any real know-how and manage to get close? You live in a strange world.

You are underestimating the hype. It will easily sell 10 million or more in the first week. 40 million for the first year at the very least. I expect PS4 to be really frontloaded, similar to the GTA 5. Sales will dry up quickly.
