You guys do know that Nintendo has exclusive Indie games on their systems and even more with exclusive features on it right?

Also Joe that list is Incomplete you're missing about 95 games.

Nintendo's Indie support is almost better than Sony's actually. They just dont talk about it. Sony does. Infact it was Nintendo who moved Sony to do anything about Indies.

Shit some of the games on there are even better than some retail games. Like Steamworld Dig on the E-Shop

I just went off icons from Nintendo's wii u website so that everything would be formatted correctly. Spent like 2 minutes on the thread hence the missing games and inclusion of non indie games.

No I meant you're missing 90 indie games on the list

Yeah Nintendo has a lot missing from there^

No they will not.

-The PS4 has better indie support
-Xbox fans don't like indie games
-WiiU fans all have high end PC's, where even more indies are.

So no gamer in his right mind would buy a WiiU for indie games.

Not just for, but its another reason to own one.

First point is bs

Second point is BS

part of 3rd is valid but lots of PC owners also own consoles but we do have high end PCs. Thats why we went with Wii U. Not a lot of overlap in game library.

I don't think independent titles are going to sway that many consumers. The indie games on Wii U, Vita, and soon to be on PS4 will, in most cases, also be available on PC or iOS. I think the bigger selling point for Wii U, and you identify it in your OP, is the Virtual Console. Neither Sony nor Microsoft have anything close to the collection Nintendo can upload to its eShop. I think a single console that plays Kid Icarus, Super Mario Bros., Mega Man 2, Super Metroid, Earthbound, Street Fighter II, Harvest Moon, Final Fight, plus the entire Wii and Wii U libraries, is something special.

Honestly, WiiU would prolly fly off the shelf if Nintendo managed to message this clearly this holiday -IF XD

Why do you think people want to play a bunch of old games with their new system? Sorry, that would only appeal to a small fanbase (probably the people whos bought one so far)

Not every retro gamer is a potential Wii U owner. thats just silly. Those retro gamers are using emulators on their PCs and wouldn't spend 300 dollars for a system to spend more money on something they get for free

If all Wii U needed was niche filler content Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, & Wind Waker HD would have shot the system into the stratosphere.

Lmao another delusional topic from a Nintendo fan boy. Indie games really? Ps4 will have more indie support. The kids got wii are older now and don't want to play games for little kids anymore. Too bad Nintendo couldn't see that. They should've had the approach they had with Super Nintendo. What adult really wants to keep playing Mario, Zelda, smash brothers, Pokemon and donkey kong lol
