Sales means everything... and I think Monster Hunter on Nintendo so far have sold well so even though the exclusivity might run out... I think Capcom might make continue to make it on Nintendo anyway... Or Nintendo can buy Capcom since they only have like 200 mill on their bank

Just because they have 200m in their bank doesn't mean that Nintendo can just buy them.  Money in bank doesn't say anything about how much a business is worth. A business's worth has to take into account all assets (fixed and current) and liabilities!

Take into account that most of the money that they spent just before their annual report was used on developing new games which have yet to be released on the market.

In addition to that, Capcom sold more than 2million copies of MH4 in the first week of launch so that would've already increased the money they had in their bank account after their last financial statement.

So please do not say that company X can buy company Y because they have a certain amount of money in their bank account. It doesn't work like that!

Well its obvious that there is a lot more to it than that... I am just over simplifying the whole process since in comparasion to capcom, Nintendo has over 8 billion in their bank so I think Nintendo has more than enough money to buy them... And yes Monster Hunter 4 sold a crazy amount, but on Nintendo hardware therefore giving Nintendo money as well

Nintendo wouldn't be able to buy them whole because Capcom is a limited company and its shares don't belong to a single person and/or corporation. You seem to have the misconception that money in the bank can buy any business. Capcom's interest is in their shareholders before anyone elses so unless their shareholders are willing to sell their shares to Nintendo I just can't see Nintendo completely buying Capcom out.

Again... I am oversimplifying the whole process... I am well aware of what they can and cannot do... I am just saying Nintendo should buy capcom because they have a lot more money. I am well aware that in order for a company to buy a business, the business has to be for sale as well as a ton of other things... I know that Nintendo can't buy Capcom even if they wanted to because capcom isn't for sale. I am simply saying that if Capcom were for sale, based on the money they have, Nintendo could just buy them easily

You shouldn't take comments so seriously... People saying blah should buy blah all the time just for various reasons. There is no point in going into the technical details of it since a) neither person knows the full extent to what goes on behind the scenes b) Not all comments has to be technically correct c) I was being facetious

MH can get monster sales on any platform as soon as its user base gets large enough, so Capcom won't ever give its lifetime exclusive to anybody. But knowing they'd have waited for PSV to exceed a given mimimum user base before releasing on it, they could have sold Ninty a timed exclusive for 3DS, this way they'd get the money for the exclusive, the sales on 3DS and later the sales on PSV (surely higher than realeasing on it sooner), so a timed exclusive for 3DS is a win-win situation for Capcom. Sony will have to support PSV sales alone of with the help of other 3rd parties until its user base is large enough for Capcom's appetite.

Would you want the MH base split up between the 3DS and the Vita though?

Those two systems cant play with each other can they?

Thanks you! Posts like the one you're replying to need to stop. Or at least have a little thought put into them.

Can MH Freedom players play with those of other versions? It looks like some platforms got its own versions up until now, while the main line, MH, went from one major platform to another and it has been Ninty exclusive in the last years, and MH Frontier seems a home console multiplatform line. Most probably PSV will receive, if any, MH Freedom, just like PSP did. It looks like Capcom doesn't mind about splitting user bases, because most probably, due to MH strongly exploiting collecting, like Pokémon, making different lines they don't overlap, but add up.
