Man, people really can't accept that Capcom could possibly have made Monster Hunter 3G and 4 on Nintendo consoles by choice.
Why is there anything suspicious about one of the most popular franchises in Japan being made for by far the best-selling console in Japan for the past two years?

Because they also made one for by far the worst selling console in Japan for the past year.
...And they didn't release it for the successor to by far the best selling console at that time.

Nope, still not suspicious.
Monster Hunter was Sony exclusive from 2010 to 2011. So did Sony have to make some kind of deal to convince Capcom to make a game for PSP and port it to PS3?
The Wii U port isn't weird because it's just a port from the 3DS game, and it was a launch title. At the time the game came out, the Wii U was NOT the worst-selling console anywhere.
The PSP was not the best-selling console anywhere for any significant length of time. Capcom wisely chose the 3DS knowing that Nintendo would dominate the handheld market this gen just as they have for the past 30 years.
Nope, still nothing suspicious about any of this.
