1. No. This was a good thing imo - brought better competition than what Sega could offer.

Number one was good for the industry, true. But surely NOT for Nintendo. It was their biggest mistake by far.

December 2011? Well that explains #10. Sort of.

Were you asleep in those months? The whole internet, gamers and the industry was thinking that. Not just the impatient ones. People like to play the doom card pretty fast.

That is exactly my point.

Number 1 should be not using Discs on the N64, they lost all their third party support from that.

Seeing as I cannot use sound at work discreetly, I have no idea what the list is.

How is Philips CD-i Nintendo's fault? I mean given them the license to make Nintendo game yes, but not the console itself sucking...

I also don't agree with number 2, one of the reasons the Wii was so successful was because of how cheap it was, by making the console more powerful they would have lost that major appeal. I obviously don't agree with number 10.

The rest is spot on.

The virtual boy's concept is good, the excecution bad. They rushed the console so that they wouldn't have it and the N64 releasing at the same time. It wasn't finished, and had horrible software support. Who could say it would have gone better if they gave the console a few years more in dev. but if they managed to get a better colour pallete and a 3d that didn't kill you within 2 minutes, they might have had something.

I was pretty amused when I started the video and saw what was at #10. I guess it just goes to show how much the console has changed in the past year-and-a-bit.

Plenty of rightful blunders in here. Although I agree, losing Square shouldn't have been an entry on its own.
