I didn't say MS deserves anything more than Apple or any other comapany for that matter. You create the double standard when you say Apple deserves it more for creating the same rehased phones, computers, and Tablets and charging a fortune for them.

Did you read the OP? It goes beyond what products they offer, it's how they operate as a company.

MS is a very charitable company at heart, and immensly progressive within social issues like LGBT (one of the first american companies to really route for those rights)

Again, still applies. Many companies are charitable.

You don't know to what extent, neither do I. The people that did this list however likely do.

Actually, just the thought of McDonalds motivates me to want to lose weight. Also, the thought of some of the wack jobs that walk up into Wal-Marts tells me not to ever lose myself and be like that. Pretty inspiring indeed.
