After having seen Olympus has fallen and played Homefront i have to comment that american society and people are being completely brainwashed not only from propaganda-movies like olympus has falled but from news bulletins from the biggest american networks just to inform you North Korea here in greece isn 't considered the source of of evil but just a state that followed socialism -communism with some special characteristics. AMERICA HAS DONe A LOT OF ACTIONS TO PUT EMBARGO FROM WORLDWIDE society TO NORTH KOREA just because NK doesn 't follow the capitalist model. That humilated North Korea with no foreign help and made her to ask for humanitarian help. So America is the responsible for the thousands that died from starvation.Noone in brainwashed by the goverment television tell american epople the truth about it. North Korea with a socialist ideology WILL NEVER attack america or another country . AMERICA ATTACKED KOREA IN 1950 after having hijacked UN rules THIS IS THE TRUTH that will likely happen in the future is that America will invade North Korea in the name of abolishing dictatorship for *freedom of people and democracy*.But the real reason will be that Mc Donalds hasn 't opened store in NK just yet.

I can't tell if this is serious or not. The U.S. will unlikely invade North Korea just like that, because they are backed by China, which I don't think the U.S. can take head-on anymore.

The party although has made a lot of mistakes ,but you see the tree not the forest  what is poor and what rich in capitalism ? the 80% of gdp in most countries is being owned by a minority. The law of value is the ultimate goal of socialism to abolish . That takes years or maybe  centuries the worldwide crisies of capitalism will likely make a worldwide revolution sooner or later and then NK will be viewed the one that stood there without changing from the very beginning.

A long while back when Noam Chomsky did the Massey Lecture up here he released a great book discussing the topic called Necessary Illusions: Thought Control in Democratic Societies.  It is a compelling and well argued academing discussion on the topic, and it predated the post 911 madness.

I do as well. And while I don't agree with most of the points about North Korea in the OP I do think that a lot of brainwashing takes place in all countries including our own.

Tyranny after all is most effective when those under it believe that they are free.
