Avs have no life right now. Varlamov played out of his mind but received absolutely no help from the rest of the team, in fact his teammates were something of a liability at times. The turnaround has been rather amazing really. Should be interesting going forward, I'm sure the wild feel they should be up three-one in this series, and with how poorly the avs have played the last two games you have to wonder where their minds are right now.

Avalanch has been overperforming all year, their underlying numbers were actually quite similar to the Maple Leafs. I've beee waiting for a correction back to the norm for a while, but Varlamov is having a career year and they keep up an unusually high shooting percentage. At some point it almost have to come back to roost, which is why I picked the Wild in this series but I am not at all sure about that pick. If the wild continue to get above average to great goaltending, I think they will be a very hard out for the Avs.

Kuemper is playing very well for the the Wild and the Wild have an incredible PK this series. The only PP goal the Avs got was on an empty net.

Blues are lucky the blackhawks collapsed in game1 and gave up game 2. Could easily have been a 4 game series. They better do better today than the last 4 games if they dont want to end their run early. They loss 8 of the last 10.

LOL! If that fight occurred Chara should get two majors because how lopsided it would have been. Love the linesmen darting in. I doubt he wanted to explain a death in a game he was officiating.

Another weird, by-the-skin-of-their-teeth game for the avs tonight. They scored goals short handed, 4-on-4 and 6-on-5 empty net. It's not exactly the most sound winning formula, but it can be damn fun and thrilling to watch. Going to be interesting to see how the wild respond, another game they have to feel they should have won--and potentially clenched the series--yet the avs found a way to win. Seems they'll either come out angry come Monday or deflated.
