Yes, very poor. Miller is the best goalie in the NHL right now, and now that he is behind a solid defense everyone will see it. Part of what makes Miller's game so strong is the insane mental focus he has and his ability to reset immidiatly after a bad goal or a bad game or whatever. Qualities that are very important in the playoffs. Paired with his long history of playing almost every game every season, he is a huge upgrade in net over Jaroslav Halak.
As for Steve Ott, he is not brought to the Blues to score goals. And let's not forget what team he played for before the trade. The Sabers are historically bad at generating scoring opportunities and shots on goal this year. Steve Ott will be valueable for the Blues in opening up the ice for their scorers. He will be a beast for them in the playoffs is my prediction.

Bold statement for something very arguable. And a huge upgrade over Halak? Halak is having a really good season this year and proved he could be the number 1 goalie for the Blues.
Let's not forget how many times Ott played with Hodgson and/or Moulson this year.
Even Broadziak (Wild) had a 20+ goal year a few years ago...

Of course it will always be arguable when you discuss the difference between 4 or 5 of the best players in the universe at their position. Ryan Miller has put up numbers that stack up against anyone in the league on a team that is so horrid defensively that it is almost beyond comprehension some times. Anyway, I've given my opinion on Ryan Miller above. The only area where you might have a case that Halak is on par or even better than Miller is he's rebound control. All other aspects that Halak's game is based on: patience, mental focus, and staying in control of the game are earas where Ryan Miller is undoubtably better. On top of that Ryan Miller has elite level reflexes and positioning. Halak is a very good goalie, but Miller is an excellent goalie. How anyone can argye that Miller is a huge upgarde over Halak is a mystery to me, especially considering that Halak was pretty much the only hole on the Blues roster.
Also, if you are going to analyze Steve Ott's game based on how many goals he scores and compare him to Broadziak than you are missing the point. That is not Steve Ott's role and the act that he played 2nd line minutes for Buffalo tells you everything you need to know about how telent depleted the Sabres are right now. Steve Ott is a solid to excellent 3rd line winger who plays the kind of game you will have to play in the playoffs. With St. Louis depth they can afford to drop Steve Ott to the 4th line where he'll have way above regular 4th line offensive upside.
(PS. Steve Ott played virtually no minutes with Matt Moulson)
