The saddest thing about it was just what a history Psygnosis had with Sony.  They were so integral in helping PS1 find a footing; shaping its image with games like WipEout and publishing tonnes of stuff on the console to keep the games flowing.

To see that studio finally shut its doors is just heartbreaking.

Seeing as how we're getting Shadow of the Beast back, though, it seems that Sony is at least still aware of their influence.  Perhaps some ex-Psygnosis staff are supervising the project or something.

I hope its true. I want to see more wipeout on the PS4 and Vita and a revival of Rollcage!

wipeout 2048 is one of the best racers on handhelds.Why it bombed is certainly not SL's fault.

I sent a tweet to Shu yoshida asking if this is true. I doubt he will answer but at least i tried.
