lol their bitching for that one was justified, in some sense, since it was originally an exclusive, and more importanly delayed for a much longer period.

But I bet this will be used as an excuse for the hypothetical poor sales the WiiU version gets, so in a sense they will mind.

Yep, Wii U owners get an excuse not to buy, the publisher gets an excuse to further scale back support. Everybody wins!

And then moves on to mobile gaming!

Well then it better have parity with the PS4/X1 versions of the game.

Not total parity of course, but close enough to it.

And by the way Pezus, because you seem to need reminding again, the Wii U version is still the best-selling version of Legends, which is also the best-selling Wii U game in the UK this week. What exactly does Ubisoft have to complain about there? "Yeah, Rayman Legends is one of the best-selling Wii U games weeks after release, and the best-selling version of the game is on Wii U, but... it's not selling enough more than on any other console. We were really hoping the 3.5 million Wii U owners would buy 6 to 7 times the number of copies 75 million+ PS3 and 360 owners are buying. I guess the Wii U won't be a high priority for our next Rayman title."

maybe it will and thats why its being delayed, hell maybe they might throw in some cool features. If you were (not you per se Dengle) were really interested in getting AC4 for Wii U then what is 3 weeks?

Hey, if it matches the PS4/X1 versions more or less blow-for-blow, I have no complaint about this. Though I don't know what those 3 extra weeks could accomplish, but if that's what it takes, go right ahead Ubi.

Anyways. This thread is a bait, its about the Euro release date. Here's the US release date:

US: 360 - October 29
PS3 - October 29
Wii U - October 29
PS4 - November 15
PC - November 19
Xbox One - November 22

Those were meh games anyway^

Hmm also since now next gen versions of AC4 get a same time release, how much should the Wii U version outsell the PS4/XB1 versions? It will have an substantial advantage in install base, ultimately. A few hundred thousands of copies more?

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

You're right, they don't need to at all. Y'see, there's this publisher you may have heard of called Gameloft...

its not gonna match those blow for blow. it would probably be like Ps360 or a bit better like AC3 before it matter of fact the delay is only in UK it seems so yeah

That, I am willing to bet on as well. There will be pockets of people who will complain about it, claim they didn't buy it as a result, and then use as an excuse for poor sales (if it doesn't sell well).

I wonder what the excuse will be when PS4/X2 versions dont sale on par with PS360 versions? Install base? Delayed release? Sorry but those are not valid reasons. You guys better start thinking of something soon.

There won't be any need for an excuse, because the recent example of Rayman Legends makes it clear that only Nintendo systems must be examined.

We need more Nintendo fans who blame 360 and PS3 owners for bombs like Fuse and Lost Planet 3.

I actually made a really good post the other day comparing sales of PS3 games, that nobody wanted to touch. Out of 2856 games or so that are listed on VGChartz, only 368 sold above 500k. the rest were below 500k on a console with an install base of nearly 80 million. Using their own standards 77% of PS3 games were a flop for selling below 500k
