i wouldnt call you a "better" fan. I know what kind of fan to call you but i dont want to be banned. But jking aside, better late than never. ANd on the bright side if there are any more droughts in WIi U's releases then you have a WIDE arrange to choose from.

Well, the Wii U droughts seems like it will be there forever. The only game that interest me this holiday season is WWHD and now that I have a 3DS I prefer to buy all the Zelda's enlisted.

Oh and this was my first animal crossing and i love it;
  • Shin Megami Tenseu IV - Cant help on this one, never played it.
  • Eitran Oddisey IV - Played the demos and enjoyed, it is on my "to buy" list, and tomorrow it will be released the remake of the first one Etrian Oddisey Untold, you could try the demos;
  • Fire Emblem Awakening - Really great game, it is a strategy/jrpg game, but the strategy part is a little (just a little) broken, because the game allows you to grind, there is a demo for this game too;
  • Ace Attorney 5 - It was not released yet, and outside of Japan will be released only through eshop;
  • Bravely Default Fliying Fairy - Not released yet;

There are some marvelous DS games:

- Mario vs luigi Bowser inside story (best game IMO on DS)
- Dragon Quest 9
- Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow
- Professor Layton and the Unwound Future

Those games are a lot better than the 2 Zelda on DS which are boring (IMHO).

On 3DS:

- Cave Story 3D (a hidden gem, I liked so much this one I bought 2 more sealed copies of this game.)
- Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
- Mario Vs Luigi Dream Team


And the others previously cited as: Fire emblem, Zelda OOT, animal crossing etc.

Too bad you are not interested in Mario 3D land and Luigi because they are really outstanding games with really high production values.

The 3DS has so much good games!

Congrats on the purchase!

As far as DS titles go, I would got for Elite Beat Agents, New Super Mario Bros., a bunch of Castlevania titles, Yoshi's Island DS, 999, Mario Kart DS, Tetris DS, Aliens Infestation, The World Ends With You, both Zelda games, a handful of Professor Layton games, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Okamiden.

For 3DS, I would definitely recommend downloading the Oracle games and Link's Awakening. I haven't yet played a lot of the games you're considering, so I can't really comment.
