It may depend if M$ pays to have the XB! version be the "definitive version" or not.  Based on a many comments on these threads, that is all it takes to be declared the best.

It just shows US gamers don't have any brand loyalty. PS1 & PS2 dominated in US and suddenly in this generation, Xbox360 beat PS3 by more than 10million units sold leading. It indicated how easy US gamers changed their minds from Playstation to Xbox. I will not feel surprise PS4 beat Xbox One in US in the next gen.

Look European gamers, even PS3 was launched such late, gamers still preferred PS3 rather than X360 that showing great brand loyalty.

64% is a huge amount of people out there that can be convinced. My guess is most of them will be casual gamers. X1 has the higher potential to pull those customers in with their Kinect 2.0. I would not under estimate them. Of course even if X1 eventually outsells PS4 because of the casual gamers, core gamers traditionally spend more money after the system purchase but with new entertainment options available, I wonder if that will continue to hold true through this gen. 

 Me, I pre-ordered both consoles so does not matter what sells more. I just want them both to do good :)

Time will tell but one things for sure this next gen gona be interesting.

I'm starting with PC, will be picking up either console a year or two down the line when exclusives are plenty and the price is right. I don't have a personal preference towards either company so the price and games will decide which one i purchase first.
