It's been a year (or in the 3DS's case more) since the console released. If it doesn't get implemented soon, it tells me it's a very low priority for Nintendo and they probably won't bother until next gen.

On the 3DS ? Could be a possibility.. WiiU ? Iwata said that they are planning to allow one to use your NID (or whatever it is called) across other systems (as in the WiiU 2 or a "third pillar")

I was thinking more letting me redownload my games if my Wii U breaks rather than letting me log into miiverse on my computer using my NNID.

Knowing Nintendo, they will of course take their sweet time until getting there though...

Considering how they said that they'll talk about titles releasing this year, I doubt they'll announce anything new. But, Iwata is always capable of dropping them bombs.

That would be a dick move to replace a Wii U game with a 3DS game. Especially since the Wii U is the platform that really needs the boost.
