10,000 hours = 400 handheld games with an average playtime of 25 hours... have you ever had a handheld with so many games played through?

Im pretty sure thats how long I've played my GameBoy Advance for.

I'm pretty sure you didn't. Which year you bought the GBA, which year the DS (which could handle GBA games as well)?

I got a Ds in 2005, I've had my GBA since it launched.

Nothing really guess this thread is not for me cause there's a lot of vita games i want to buy but im broke. Not to mention the psn, psp and ps classic games i want to buy as well.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

The GBA was release in the West in Summer 2001 (in Japan only 3 month earlier)... so 4 - 4.5 years until you got the DS.

10,000 hours would be 6 - 7 hours every day, with no exceptions. Taking in account sleeping, eating, school/work there would not be much time left for anything else...

I already want one, but until I run out of things to play on my Vita and a game that can top Persona 4 Golden comes out, I don't actually need one. I usually don't buy a 2nd system until a killer app comes out for it.

Pokemon X/Y may be the game to eventually twist my arm into getting one as it's a game you can enjoy with friends, as well as some great deals around Christmas time.

I have a 3DS, but I can get why people prefer the PSV.

Probably if I had enough money to buy games for Vita and PS3, get a PS4 with a bunch of games and maybe a Wii U, then I would buy a 3DS. So, it's only a money issue.

Now, supposing I had enough money to buy all that stuff, then I would have to decide between and U and a 3DS. The only downside I see on buying a 3DS is that I would have to carry two portables and that would probably exceed my acceptable gadget count. The lack of a second analog is another thing that could send me to Wii U rather than a 3DS.

Nothing. I can't imagine myself playing on the 3ds.

i have both problem solved.
but the 3DS is simply the better handheld.

I have both, The graphics on the 3DS aren't as good as the Vita, but they make it up by having a bunch of games. But it takes some time to get used to the graphics lol.
