As of now Ubisoft, Capcom and Activision are the only publishers I'm willing to support.

you wouldnt.
but i have a general question. If someone has a PS3 or 360 even, why complain. they already have access to the version they want. The only people who should be complaining are Wii u owners outside the US who want to play Batman and judgint by the sales id say aint a lot of them
Hi, i am a normal person and would like to buy games i am interested in, not buy games just to support a platform, mmkay.

Counting all platforms together, it easily outsold JD1. And the Wii-version of JD4 alone is pretty close to JD1. Given, JD1 wasn't multiplat. But that works both way - you could also argue it sold worse on Wii, because some of it's former players bought the game on X360, PS3 or WiiU. |
that doesnt make it look good. JD4 needed to be on MULTIPLE platforms to beat out the original entry that was released on ONE? naw thats not good. Even if you do that it still sold less than JD3, across the board even with the extra WII u SKU. If thats not a decline i dont know what is. I dont see JD 2014 doing better it might be overshadowed by PS4 and xbone release and even those are getting their own versions but i dont see them doing great on those systems.
It's better if Ubisoft just pulls their support. It's clear that it's not appreciated and it's not like they will miss a lot of revenue by doing so. So it would be a win/win situation when they drop out.
Besides they can always continue supporting the 3DS so it won't be the "end'' of anything.
Well, I've finally skimmed through the thread - bloody hell, so much butthurt in one place, it would be funny if it wasn't sad - even going as far as saying Ubi is incapable of making good $60 games.
I honestly suggest for certain people to go to
http://www.metacritic.com/company/ubisoft?filter-options=games&num_items=30&sort_options=metascore
and see what journalist last 10 or so years think of Ubi. Oh, and for those who try to pull "frickin' journalists" card, those are the very same journalists that rate all other games as well - yes, including Nintendo's.

You used to debate well. Now you merely lampoon Nintendo fans.

Not really, I really don't care much for fanboyism of any of the fanbases, it just comes down to how vocal and irrational certain specimens from each are (and/or how tired I've become at reading same sentiment from them week after week).
As for debate, I can debate all day long if there's actually something to debate about - calling out whole company mediocre, below average or incapable of making decent games, when the truth is quite the opposite, does not however make good ground for any sort of debate.
Hence my link for those who want to educate themselves a bit about how Ubisoft's games are rated.

I can agree that the reactions against Ubisoft as a whole are overstated and that the response should have been more moderate (especially since this wasn't Ubisoft actually saying it). I just feel that your comments tend to fail to make a difference in the level of discourse.
You are a good poster, i've seen that.
