I don't think so, Thou based on it's first week sales (pokemon's) well see... if they are good i have no doubt it will destroy GTA V (well almost every game) in LT sales, but it will all depend on the first week, i say 5m = Bad - 7/8 = ok/expected, 10/11m = AmazingFW, 15+m = bow before the videogames god because there's nothing left to do -- but over 11m is highly unlikely, hell over 8 million would be too good for pokemon, that's what i'm betting for (8m) giving more value to what i just typed - God of Videogames if that (over 10+++ million) happens.

I think that is just impossible. Nothing will beat GTA V for a long long time. Only thing that can is probably another GTA lol.

No pokemon cant compete with GTA, because there arent enough 3DS's out right now and Japan has a small population.
