i figured MS would get into this game eventually. wonder how far behind MS will be in getting this to market. hopefully for MS's sake they aren't too late to market again.

MS will have had this tech for years.  It really isnt difficult, its pretty basic stuff.  I'm still shocked Sony decided to buy it in.

behind close doors doesn't really count for market perception.  sony is launching early 2014.  that will make MS the me-too of cloud gaming services.

Well, Sony hasn't even shone the tech working behind closed doors so what does that tell you.  As I found out, gamers do not care who does what first, its who does what the best.

in the US only I believe? and only for ps4 and ps3.

with no plans for anywhere else.

we'll see who wins this race.

US first then europe and the rest of the world.

ps4/ps3 first then vita/vita.TV then PC and other devices.

for how much you talk about how much better MS is than the competition you never seem particularly informed about the competition.

not true.  i personally played rayman orgins on gaikai.com just after the acquisition.  worked amazingly well, if there was any input lag i couldn't feel it.

Nice MS seems to be ahead of the game when it comes to streaming. I am sure their years of experience has helped them though. At least they have shown it to be working. Behind closed doors is better than not being shown at all.

Yeah, I played the Alan Wake demo on it and it was very smooth. I'm surprised it is taking them that long to get it running again given how good it was before. The Europe delay annoys me because it was great here in the UK a year ago.

PSN: Osc89

NNID: Oscar89

Didn't OnLive do this a few years back?

That is a ridiculous statement. Maybe if Sony were the first to do cloud gaming service, but they aren't.

I believe MS definitely hired on several good employees of OnLive after they went out of business. Probably had a good role in this, even though as others have said, this isn't much different to what MS has already done for ages.

OnLive is still in business... you can even use MS Office through OnLive now

I will permaban myself if the game releases in 2014.

in reference to KH3 release date

Wasn't this stuff in the Xbox roadmap revealed a couple years ago? Surprised it took them this long to show it off. Wonder what will happen with it.
