Well launch line-up for both consoles look average I'll give the edge to X1 in terms of pure retail titles. 2014 looks like it's going to be a great year in gaming.

So... I can't speak for anyone else, only for myself. But as far as I'm concerned, the PS4 offers more.
I think it all depends where you look at. On some parts of the internet, the XBO comes ahead, but from what we see globally, it's obvious the PS4 is ahead most everywhere... Of course, we'll get a better picture of the situation once both consoles have launched.

But there's definitely no title that gets more hype than Titanfall. Justified or not.

Oh but wait 60 were from titanfall alone. Take it away since it's on PC with the potential to come to ps4 and you have 40-42. A far more accurate metric. Both have solid lineups. Anyone arguing that one is objectively better is a fanboy.

Wouldn't quite brush this off as the usual PR bull shit because its true for many people. For the first few months of release, XONE clearly has the better shooters, action and racers.

Exactly. You can't put that feather in PS4's cap since it's also on Xbox One (and in better form with dedicated servers).

Meanwhile PS4 has no Titanfall. Have you seen Titanfall? PS4 loses. All imho of course.

Honestly as far as launch line-ups go, it's a wash IMO. It really boils down to your preferences.
