Nah, PS4 and Xbox One will do very well next holiday, PS3 is only gonna do 7m~ next year.

I am going to assume you are talking about home consoles only.

I don't know- PS4 has a shitload of hype - i see it selling shitloads. Until i see how the market reacts to the PS4 - i think it is still safe to predict the last gen will have it beat - but i wouldn't count the PS4 out.

I am going out on a limb and say that 2014 will be a tight race between the PS4, One and Wii U - with the PS4 coming first followed by one then the Wii U but still be outsold by the ps3/360

no gen ran its course and there was no real dominate console like ps2 era, next gen HW (PS4XB1) should easily outpace last gen

Why isn't the 3DS a choice in the poll? I believe it will continue to be the number 1 selling console next year if Nintendo can keep pumping out these gems for it.

Well it depends how big of a price drop it gets, if its big enough it might be able to get 2nd behind the PS4.

I'm going to have to go with the PS4. There's definitely more demand for it than any of the others. Plus, Sony looks to be on the ball when it comes to supply. Then you have to think that the PS4 will be launching in more regions in Q1 of 2014, most notably in Japan, where it will DEFINITELY do better than Wii U and the One. Personally, though, I think Sony should have launched the PS4 in Japan just before New Years (which is their largest shopping period.) I guess they figure they have that region locked down, at least when compared to the One.

As for the PS3, it should do very well this holiday, as there should be $149 SKUs on Black Friday. However, outside of Japan, I see its sales dropping rather quickly at the beginning of the year.
