So where is the update?

Around the Network

So, where is the update? is it the DF interview or something?

Sept 26th and 29th have come and gone and its Oct 4 already. Will that dGPU be confirmed anytime soon?

Don't get me wrong, I may be a biased ass Sony fanboy but I'm hoping that there really is a secret sauce...Since you know, my personal Interests >>>>>>>> anyone elses.

Secret sauce = more positive news for Xbone = more people will buy it = lots of sales for MS = X360 being dropped sooner than later = massive price cuts = me buying x360 + kinect sooner rather than later = I'm a happy camper.

Yes I asked for this update too.

I just want to know how they make there secret sauce in the speghetti......  I think they should drop to 450, it could happen, maybe. If I was them i would, this would stop the people from complaining about the forced camara. however I'm not sure if this is a real issue, since really only Sony fans say it. However I would like a $50 break. More games for me.

Actually, MS got it right including Kinect 2 in eveyr xbox one. This way, when they make the developers include kinect control on the games, they're sure that everyone who bought an Xone will be able to use the feature.

Sony should have included the ps camera and a move controller and priced the PS4 at $500 too. As it stands, more developers wont have issues with including kinect controlls for xone as oppose to including ps cam contorls and move controls for the PS4. The PS Cam and move will again forever be un-supported.

As for the price, many have been ripping MS for the $500 price tag, but I don't really see the issue. Video gaming has never been a basic need nor was it ever a poor mans hobby.

Op is full of it....thought you guys would know that by now lol.

But..b.b.bBut...the secret sauce!!!....

There was no secret sauce. It was well known for a while. Also, this thread in particular was a mess to begin with being the thread title is misleading twice. First there were no new specs to dicuss and 2nd penello never mentions the 26th. You guys didnt hear an update because there wasnt any

i dunno about that.  true, now developers will know every xbox has one.  ...but that extra $100 (or maybe more depending on who you believe) is the most significant reason why, imo, ps4 is troucing xbone in pre-orders and will continue to do so post-launch.  if ps4 outsells xbone then any developer that uses kinect in any meaningful way misses out on over half the market.   ..thus kinect doesn't get supported anyways as major publishers are only making multiplates but MS loses significant marketshare and all the revenues associated with those customers.

sony got it right, imo.

quote me if you want.  by and large only MS's first/second party games will support kinect.  3rd party will ignore it bundeled or not.

exactly, Sony put a touch pad on every controller, so devs know every ps4 owner has it, but i also expet all 3rd party devs to largley ignore that, thankfully it didnt add $100 to the price.

is anyone but killzone and the ps playroom using the touch pad?    i mean, lulz, sony doesn't even seem to be using it much and even then it is just a "swipe" button.    ...imo, sony mostly wanted it for OS features but like you said,.. thankfully it didn't cost sony $100 to add.
