So this includes japan? And by march 31st? Guess the very very few people here thinking it will outsell WiiU lifetime by Dec 31st have some proof it wont happen... Aside from that, really great accomplishment, it'll easily do it imo

When is the PS4 launching in Japan? It seems like a reasonable goal, depending on A) When the PS4 launches in Japan B) How steady the software releases are.

Feb 22.
Hmm...yeah I think they'll hit their goal. A Japanese launch in February will give them a nice hardware sales spike in the 6 weeks before the fiscal year ends.

WiiU sold that much.

Keep in mind this is just shipped. They should be able to stuff the channels on new console excitement if need be.
I think it is possible. They dont have production shortages. Plus ps4 still carries good reputation among all type of gamers because of their E3 2013 anti-DRM announcements.
Doable, since all the major markets would have the PS4 released at this point.
Not sure if people are even realising they mean shipped... Not sold to consumers.
A high target either way. They should reach it.
Nintendo wanted 5.5m for Wii U in same time frame.
This obviously means there is no way PS4 will outsell Wii U this holiday as the most intelligent people already knew.
However, if X1 or PS4 are able to create Wii like demand, it could catch Wii U before 2015.
