Well after Sony did a help to Bethesda Skyrim is running way better on PS3.

skyrim ran terribly on all platforms, just especially the ps3

I just read this post and thought "This game is out?  I thought it didn't come out until Tues.....OH SHIT! It is Tuesday!!" I planned on buying this game on day one and, to be honest, I still probably will have it some time today.  For some reason, I'm still not really excited to buy it or play it.

I think they maybe something wrong with the PSN version:

"I experienced pop in like seen in the 360 disc vs. install video, most notably the beach shot where the beach texture and background objects pop in delayed. Also on the first Franklin driving mission, all the gas pumps at a gas station popped in about 5 feet away from my car"

It will always run worse if you only playing from one media, Rockstar have stated this. best to have half install and half on the Disk or in 360s case half on a pen drive if you have it

According to users across the PlayStation Network in Europe, the PSN version of Grand Theft Auto 5 is facing problems. Namely texture/geometry pop-in that occurs in the Xbox 360 dual disc installed version – namely with some plants around the baywatch house, a fence at the pier – along with some aliasing issues. For those who don’t know, the same issues occur if you install both discs rather than just the “Install” disc for GTA 5 (which Rockstar has stated will lead to reduced performance).
