Never heard of a game running at 900P, anyone know of another game like this?

Meanwhile on PC... 1440p resolutions at 120fps

Sorry for the off-topic:

Whoa, where? Which monitor does this? I need that!

one sec

there's a lot of them. At varying costs and quality. There's also like 2560x1600 which is 16:10. They're only 27 inch and above. So if you compare it to a 22 inch monitor it's got like 33% more pixels per inch.

I think you misunderstood. I know there are plenty of 1440p screens, just haven't seen one that offers 120Hz. Beyond that, 5ms response time is just a no-no for me.

yeah I jumped too quickly. There's not any out yet. I think there's a few out there that are @100Hz that you can force 120Hz which can ruin your monitor, but they still have the slow response time 6ms (GTG). Though you'd have to see reviews since everyone lies about response times. Some are actually correct and some are 5x slower than listed

OT: The x1 is less powerful than the PS4. But, it's all about what the devs desire most important, it's not always simple,

1440 x 900.  HDTVs only go 480, 720, and 1080, while monitors can do any common resolution.  1440p, 1080p, 900p, 800p, 600p, etc.

A lot of games run at a special resolution. There is more than 720p and 1080p, some games are even changing the res while playing.

900 vs 1080? Really? Is this the type of thing that keeps people up at night, thinking "oh my God if only I got the right console!!!!"?

Well t is alot of money to spend for some people they don't want to be stuck with the crap versions of games when they have near identical libraries.

Surely you know that Ryse is an exclusive? "People" surely know that 3rd party games will be near identical...

Not sure what the point of your post is.

Sorry but if exclusive games cant acheive 1080p what hope do 3rd parties have, seems more likely than ever now that we will see resolution differnces on multiplat games. But still not set in stone, so maybe MS devs are just a bit poor, can always hope its just that.

Of course, someone had to go ahead and drag the PS4 into the thread

But seriously, what did people really expect? Ryse pretty much went through development hell by now. Starting out as a Kinect only game on the 360 and ending up a launch title on the XBOX One. With only 2 years of development. I wouldn't want to know how much work had to be thrown away and redone for this game. I'm pretty surprised it is even finished by now.

This game isn't going to be a showcase for what the X1 really can do.

And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Ryse is made by MS devs? Interesting. And stop the nonsense talk about difference between first party and 3rd party graphical difference. Many 3rd party games showed incredible graphics and proved a lot of skill by devs this gen.

The PS4 was dragged into this in the OP. it's a direct comparative reference.

the rest of your post  agree with.

of course you agree with me, we are like pals, we both laughed when we saw the thread this morning

What will people say when there are a raft of ps4 games than not only don't achieve 60fps, but are also sub 1080p? I'm sure there are already examples.

Just yesterday we had people downplaying 1080p and 60fps for Bayonetta 2 (it's gameplay that counts!) now it will be a minumum again and ridiculous that Da XBone can't achieve it.

pathetic and boring, transparent and childish.

Forza 5 1080P 60FPS Baked lightning.

Cars look like toys.

Current gen environments.

Killer Instinct 720P 60FPS

2.5D fighting game lol.

Dead Rising 3 = 24 - 30FPS with dynamic resolution.

Rye = 900P 30FPS

Killzone  1080P 30 - 60FPS

Knack = 1080P 30FPS

Resogun 1080P 60 FPS

Driveclub 1080P 30 - 60FPS.

The only non 1080P game on PS4 is The Order and that's because they're adding black lines at the top and bottom of the screen for cinematic purposes. Also don't knows why you're mad, not like I ever said 1080P isn't important as it should be a standard for next gen seeing as 4K TVs will be the norm by generations end. Fact of the matter is...the only 1080P native game on X1 we've seen uses last gem features to seemingly achieve it.

So not all 1080p and 60fps then, thanks for the confirmation......  "cinematic purposes" lmao.... sure, get ready for more excuses like that.

As soon as you start saying nonsense like "cars look like toys" and "2.5d fighting game lol" your argument loses credibility and you show your true colours.

My point is that is is not news, who cares? the WiiU does a game at 1080p and 60fps, is it more powerful than the ONE? it's more about design choices.  This is just another opportunity for a dig.

Who the hell was even talking about all ps4 games being 1080p 60fps? We are talking about sub hd so you seem to be clutching at straws with your replies I see. Also the order's 1920x800p resolution (still higher than 900p) is an excuse while this 900p is a "design choice" lol hypocracy at it finest! My point being is that the difference between xb1 and ps4's power are showing more and more as things unravel.

OP is right. Next gen is weak, but in the end it's the quality of the games that matter.
