She (at least I think) is using personal opinions in the middle of her "professional review" (I'm pretty sure you learn your not supposed to do that when your...15) and using that personal opinion to bring the score down...that's why people got upset. The IGN reviewer (who also looks like a man) never got hate cause she was a woman. 

I was watching that GIF and saw the adams apple on him/her.  I thought that was a fake photo...


I love how in E3 all the so called "gamer girls" are super hot but in reality...it's something different

First of all: this is the only negative in the entire review? If yes, its the first time that she take away points of a game because of this? If, yes, so she actually wrong in my opinion, just not enough to be fired.

The thing that i find most funny in this thread is that:

she shouldn't get fired (are those guys crazy?) but what i don't understand is why the game should be different? yes, misogyny is bad but i don't really expect to play a game like gta without stuff like this. it's not a game like the sims, it's a game about criminals who kill and raid banks. is it really so hard to believe that they aren't the perfect family guys who respect woman?

if she complains about that she should also complain that you kill innocent people, steal vehicles and whatever else in gta games and she should only play games where there is nothing which would be wrong in real life. if it is wrong to have a game with misogyny how is it ok to have a game where being a criminal is ok and even "cool"?

If you have a problem with the story for whatever reason. Lowering your score is justified. If you find the humor in borat distasteful. It's a valid criticism. Some people thought it was fine, some people didn't. If you don't like melodramatic games, it's a valid criticism for said game. Some people get turned off by different things and that's why there's different opinions. For some the violence isn't disturbing, but racism, sexism, or language is. For others the opposite is true and everything in between.

It's a plenty valid criticism if the humor ruined her enjoyment of the game. Even then, it didn't ruin it very much.
