I'm getting it for my brother. I'm not a big GTA myself but he loves it so I'm just helping feed his addiction is all.

IV pretty much killed the series in its tracks for me so I doubt I'll bother with V. Maybe...maybe someday down the road dirt cheap.

Ditto. I played the very first one on PC. The last one I played was San Andreas, and back then my computer could barely run it, so I gave up in frustration.

There wasn't really anything about the last few iterations in the series that got me interested.

I have to say though that looking at the videos for GTA V, I am quite impressed in what they have accomplished in bringing the world to life. It looks interesting enough just to wonder around in the world, so I may pick it up eventually. That also depends on how many other games I have in my backlog...

I'll tell ya one thing, you would get a ton of more bang for your buck if you got GTAV over TW101 and RL. Ten fold.

EDIT: Wait, you played through all 5 GTA games and you're not a fan? 5th time's the charm or do you get off on finishing games you don't enjoy?

i plan on not buying it until its confirmed not to release on next gen HW or when it releases on next gen HW. this is not like the last of us a 20-30 hr game to fully complete it will probably be the longest to complete gta game to date.

Not me. 101 is a incredibly unique looking game whereas GTAV is simply another openworld kill people and have sex with prostitutes game. I was sick of it with Age of Conan and I'll never NOT be sick of those games. 101 is charmful looking and not inappropriate. Not to mention 101 looks like it's gonna be one of those games that you replay over and over again years down the road.

i hate GTA and think it's overrated and i dont like the themes the game gives off. Im not saying that GTA games are bad, they are very well made but i think like COD. They are very much overrated and not my cup of tea.

Not my kind of game, so I am also not buying it, I still have a lot of games to play anyway.

well don't feel to bad...there are people living in the slums of countries in Asian and Africa and they aren't getting the game either.

I've never played any GTA title.
