It's all lies, ps4 1.5x, do not discuss etc...

did i hurt your little feelings? do you get this upset every time somebody says something you dont like that you have to call them pathatic? whats getting sad is the million threads and rumors that have no relevance or truth behind it that say that the xbox one is more powerfull than it really is. we are getting rumor after rumor, theory after theory and they are getting debunked one after one. the fact that all these xbox fans just cant accept that the PS4 is more powerful than the xbox one is sad, what makes it even more sad is that the xbox one is still a powerful console, but its these billions of bogus romurs and silly threads that make the situation rather, yes you guessed it, beyond sad. 

Edit @bolded: this thread is NOT for the xbox "enthousiasts" its for everybody, just because its an xbox related subject does not mean i can connot comment in it and its dedicated for a certain part of the members on the forum. when a thread is made its made for everybody on the forums, thats why we are here. if you want a thread that is for the xbox enthousiasts go to the xbox nation thread. if you cant accept the fact Sony, nintendo and PC fans have the right to express their opinion in xbox related thread maybe you are better off singing up on the forums on xbox.com

Ugh, here we go...

The problems with these articles, is that they assume the PS4 was designed by a group of monkeys hammering with rocks and duct-taping parts together, and the XB1 was diamond-laser assembled by a crack team of Einstein level geniuses.

The reality is both devices were designed by very capable engineers, but one group just happened to choose some more powerful components for gaming, and the other group focused efforts on integrating certain aspects more than others (TV, Football, Kinect).

There's no secret sauce or miracles involved here. Just divergent design decisions and directions.

Sony got lucky that GDDR5 turned out the way it did, when they decided to go with it.  They were able to match the ONE as far as amount of RAM and have memory that was integrated.  Microsoft arguably guessed wrong (heck Nintendo did the same also in guessing with the Wii U) and have systems with split memory and the add on extra RAM.

It is a case of sometimes getting lucky.  And Microsoft, to me, looks like the ones run by monkeys by how they came into E3 and did something on par with "flip crab for maximum damage, "Riiiidge Racer" and "$599!".

2) Again, did I said anything about non-Xbox enthousiasts not having the right to read/post in this thread? Not really... Only said this thread is actually targetted at those people...

Now, it is because the PS4 is more powerfull or because you think Sony is an half-god that we cannot talk about the "other" things out there without being called out by people like you who do not only like their console/company but ALSO hate the other one up to the point of ruining any discussion arround it...

Nothing to do about my feelings; just about threads with good discussions (or speculations) being completly invaded by haters who have NO interrests at all in the actual topics but to bash/troll/flamebait it... If it is that ridiculous to talk about speculations/rumors etc... Why are you even bothering reading them and commenting on them? Just ignore them and give us a break lol...

Can we talk about this when the console is released? So then you can be sure what it has.

i have yet to see any of those. that thread about the second xbox GPU was infact full of nonesense. even when Penello debunked the rumors there were still people claiming that the xbox one might have a second GPU. yeah, no good discussions there. then we have this secret souce stuff come out of no where, tell me, Penello has been going bat shit crazy trying to prove that the xbox one isnt as far behind the PS4 as people think. he has pointed out many reasons why, why didnt he point out this secret souce thing? because it doesnt exist. yet we will have other threads and other rumors about the xbox ones power, and all will be debunked. the real question is why are people going bat shit crazy over the fact that the PS4 is stronger than the xbox one? they are in the same league visually, but people cant seem to accept the PS4 is stronger. 

@underlined: just because people are pointing out the obvious truth does not mean they are bashing, trolling or flamebaiting, you need to accept that people who do not like your console of choice do have the right to point out the negative things about it and have the right and will call out on bullshit regarding your preffered console. 

There really wasn't anyone who believed the dGPU rumour in that discussion, although it was worthy of discussion. And the only posts in that thread after AP debunked it were sony fans coming in to pile on. I don't think anyone is claiming that xbox is more powerful than PS4 either, but there are clearly undisclosed features in the xbox which people are interested in discussing. You're just here to shut down xbox discussion and arguing against strawmen. I see the PS4 threads are mostly left in peace to discuss what they will, why can't the xbox threads expect the same?
