Japan isn't doing hot either. It's really only the 3DS that puts up good numbers, everything else is in the shutter.

Europe is doing poorly too, it just may not look that way because Europe is traditionally behind the curve in video game system adoption. While the late adoption rate may favor the overall market right now (in comparison with the USA and Japan), it doesn't bode well for new systems.

The X1 is poised to tank with its $/€500 price tag. As for the PS4, don't be shocked if it only matches the pace of the $/€600 PS3. And once the aformentioned things become reality, I will keep shouting about how tablets are cannibalizing home consoles, because correlation =/= causation be damned.

its a shame they never gave the 360 another price cut the 4 gig should be 100-139 (or gone) and the 250 should be 179-239. i have a launch box no hdmi, and needed a more storage and b my console makes funny noises, and sometimes the tray does not open. I would have bought a new xbox but the 250gig unit costs too much for replacing a working unit so i just bought a used 250 hdd, to replace the 120 hdd that replaced the original 20 hdd. if the 250 gig unit had been 100 bucks cheaper i would have bought it over used parts. shame really. .... and if the XB1 played the 360 games i own i would buy it maybe not at launch but when my 360 dies .
