boo, means us ps3 owners will get the crappy 360 version too :P

Well, lets see what Rockstar are hiding from us before we start complaining bubbles

Well this makes this game just another rental for me since I'm a PS3 user. Because I refuse to buy a game thats been ported from a lesser system like the Xbox360.

it doesn't say anything other than it is a problem because not every 360 owner has a hard drive. Considering 90% of the 360 owners have it they should just make it require a hard drive.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

I think GTS4 is bing designed for both systems, wont be a port for either console. Ms messed up with the no harddrive 360! devs will always design for the least capable xbox.

Completely agree, I doubt a company like R* will make exactly the same game for both. Considering they have been working on it for three years I doubt the PS3 version will just be a port

Key phrase....."Both have their own particular pleasures and pains...[and] both have enormous challenges," I don't think the HD/space limitation is the only problem they are dealing with. I bet there are coding issues with the ps3 version as well. Best bet would be to see what is disclosed at E3 this year. I am sure something will be demoed for GTA4. Like last time though, it will probably be on the 360's hardware.

Lol, this is funny. Oblivion didn't have any issues without a HD. Maybe Rockstar should call Bethsada and ask them how they did it. The simple answer on the GTAIV HD issue? Require hard drive for play. Very simple. Big deal. Stop whining about the 360 version being "lesser" its not. I am certain that Rockstar has their hands full figuring out how to get the cell to work properly on the game. I'd rather have an easy issue like loading times with the HDD versus problems with actual preformance on the CPU/GPU combo. Lets see which version gets the sales since the 360 is the "lesser" version.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Xbox apologist are we.

They dont mention anything specific about the PS3, only the 360 issues. And dev worth a damn has long figured out the Cell.
