I think the game will perform well - probably not as well as GT5, but to be fair- GT5 had been accumulating pre-orders with its delays and 300k preorders translated to over 10 million sales worldwide for its lifetime. GT6 is releasing with a bigger market and consumer base - had great demo download numbers and will definitely have great legs - and being sold as a bundle with ps3 won't hurt either.

My guess is that GT6 will sell two million less copies then GT5 despite being slightly better and better supported with additional DLC cars and tracks.

IMO, people have GT5, and completed the experience in all of its HD glory. Why want GT6? GT5 felt so complete and definitive as a racing simulator. GT6 just seems like more of the same.

None of my PS3 friends know that its even coming out. It will definitely fail initially, but with bundles, it will sell well.

I expect it to be the lowest selling numbered installment of the series, but it will still sell great numbers (7 - 8 million). It should reach back up to GT5 numbers with GT7, providing the PS4 does as well as it looks like it's going to.

They should have released it on the PS4.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it sold less than 6mill. And Sony deserves for this to happen bc of such a dumb decision to put it on ps3. They really do make baffling decisions sometimes.

I think a lot of GT fans will hold off buying GT6 in anticipation of a PS4 upgrade of the same title. I would not be surprise if there is a GT6 "Epilogue" for the PS4 in the future. :)

Gt6 will out sell GT2. And will out sell Forza 4 in 2 months time.

Hmmm I expect a drop off in sales compared to GT5 but it will still sell extremely well.
