Personnally, I'm excepting explosive sales of Wii Fit in Europe. Who know? See the Nintendogs, Brain Training and Eye Training games, they're outselling the japanese versions.
If the USA could be like in Europe, Wii Fit sales will easily surpass the 15 Million but I'm expecting 11-12 millions in its lifetime.
For Animal Crossing Wii, We have to wait, we know nothing and I hope that there will be more fun etc... than the DS version. For this game, the use tyle of the wiimote will be very important for its sales.
Mario Kart DS will be the best selling MK game. I heard MK Wii will only have 32 races. It's the same number than the DS version. Why not add more races?

why you d'ont mention gta iv for ps3 it will sell just a lot as the 360 version
and brawl has 1week more than 800k how you can say its sell les than games that have months thats have been released

Released/announced Games I think will outsell SSBB this gen:

Wii
Wii Sports
Wii Fit
Wii Play

Xbox 360
none I can think of

PS3
none I can think of

PSP
none I can think of

PC
Starcraft 2
Sims 3 (though it's multiplat)
Spore

Multiplatform
GTA IV
Call of Duty 4

DS
Nintendogs
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
Brain Training
New Super Mario Bros.
Mario Kart DS

people are mostly saying that brawl will outsell every game on ps3 and 360

I don't think that taking the handhelds into account was fair, but since this was Erics "game", he makes the rules.

I try to make this short... If Nintendogs gets a sequel, i don't think it's going to be as big as the original. I just don't see it being that type of game that would have big sales for the sequel.
Brain Trainings for the DS have a shot to sell more than Brawl, but since there are two of them, they eat each others sales.
Halo 3, it definately won't beat Brawl. GTA 4 may end up being close combined, unless Wii gets a GTA game (not PS2 port), which would eat away PS360 GTA sales.
I believe that Wii Fit will outsell Brawl, SMG unlikely, Mario Kart for Wii will propably be close, NSMB is going to beat Brawl, just like Wii Play.

But in general about Brawl, it loses some of its sales because of getting so "early" release, but it also have a lot of time to sell slowly and steady before having basically any competition and hitting budget price, when its sales will have some boost. Having online multiplayer lowers the number of copies getting to used games market, which forces people to get their copies new.
I also see Brawl as a game that appeals to hardcore as well as casuals, just like SMG, MK Wii and GTA games, so its potential is hard to guess.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

Look at how fast galaxy caught up to sunshine... I think brawl will do the same to melee.

I think predicting under 10 million for Brawl is simply unrealistic. Past that, it's up in the air how many other games will be over 10 million. GTAIV on 360 certainly will not be. I doubt it will be over 10 million between BOTH PS3 and 360.

Erik, do you have an agenda against SSBB? You seem to be adjusting the "rules" to fit your point. You also make wild assumptions such as handheld sales equating to similar console sales, similar sales from GC to Wii despite the vastly changing install base, similar sales from PS2 to PS3 despite the vastly different install base.

Your logic is incredibly flawed because of your assumptions.

I think GTA IV will. The game has a big following on consoles and even PC.
