I dislike UPlay. Pretty annoying when I'm launching Anno 2070 and Far Cry 3 from Steam and that program takes an extra 10 seconds to load.....Plus I just dislike it (not as much as GFWL; hate that one). I would rather not have it on my consoles.

But was just going ot post same as the above two. I hate loading a game on steam and then uplay popping up and having to deal with that as well. And their uplay rewards are just freaking stupid. Always some wallpaper and stupid costumes. Why even bother.

I'm getting AC4 on Wii U, was kind of releived thinking I wouldn't have to deal with Uplay on a console, but reading that article apparantly Wii U also has Uplay? Damnit.

I don't really know why console manufacturers let Uplay/Steam on their system.

I find Uplay worse than Origin or Steam. With PC I get it.

At least uplay gives you free stuff unlike EA's which just dicks you over without even buying you flowers first.

Completeing certain tasks in uplay enabled games earns you achievements style points that can be traded for in game content or other items.

E.g get enough points in Farcry 3 and you get access to a secret mission, some syringes and a free ps3 wallpaper. San Fran allowed you to get something just as interesting can't remember what though but I remember loving it when I was playing, loved it so much I spent all my remaining points just to get the item. Best part is the points carry over from game to game.

I'd rather they do it this way instead of the way EA does it.
At least with Steam you got a free game when you bought portal 2 on ps3
