well that would be great if capcom them selfs didnt say that there is no xbox one version. god you just gotta love gaming journalism

Yup. Gaming journalism is shady. I knew it. Its capcom afterall. I can still remember about the exclusivity of resident evil 4 in gamecube. At that time many of my friends mocked me ps2 wont be getting resident evil 4. A few months later I laughed when I heard the new of ps2 version. Lol.

Didn't that move cause Mikami to quit Capcom.

While this isn't on the same level as that porting of Resident Evil 4, I feel lying like that in general is bad for business. Really hurts trust in a company.

Yup.

hopefully it cometh to PC

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

it's a ps4 exclusive, people should really get over it

It probably should, it's not really a game that's going to drive PS4 sales as an exclusive, and the extra game sales from going on to Xb one will help. So I guess it comes down to whether Sony offered "enhanced assistance" for the development of the game.

Isn't this that game with that goofy blue man lobster looking thing? Dubbed "Deep Downgrade" on GAF? I wouldn't buy it on either console.

You should check out the newer videos they have of it. Unfortunately the only ones I know of are off-screen but the game appears to be a lot closer to the visuals from the original trailer than many thought after that crappy second trailer. I wouldn't be so immediately dismissive of it if that's all you know of it.

It's funny anyone has hope for a Xbox One release, if at this point they haven't intended on a Xbox One version and Sony is assisting, how is it ever getting on Xbox One? You guys can sit here and talk technical or specifics, but no one has said the main reason it isn't going to be on Xbox One. You ever heard of Microsofts arrogant policy? Yeah well Microsoft has a policy that you cannot release a game on Xbox Later the (maybe it was a week) of other home consoles or you cannot release on Xbox.

Thanks for the info CGI-Quality.

While I'm not entirely sold on the future/past/memory premise, everything else about the game sounds interesting.  I'm getting the impression that it's taking a more multiplayer-oriented approach than Demon's Souls/Dark Souls; sort of like a Monster Hunter, but geared towards next-gen hardware and online infrastructure.
