I'm beyond hyped for this title. The only console Zelda I've never played, and it looks like I really missed out on a magical game.

Man I'm sorry I ever doubted how much better this hd remake would look. I was going to get in regardless but these graphics definitely help justify the purchase of a game I still own for GC.

I wish it was a tad cheaper. The pricing is a bit steep considering a toaster can emulate the GC version in 1080p.

I would have gladly paid more.

Here's a nice comparison video betwee the GC and Wii U version as well.

The GC version still holds up extremely well but it's the details that pop out on the Wii U version.

Amazing.

The game looks unbelievably gorgeous. Way beyond the original. The resolution, the upgraded textures, the lighting and shadows especially, the graphical effects; they really make the game shine and 'feel alive' even more. I'm pretty hyped for this game. I don't care I've already completed it three times before on the GameCube, it wasn't like this. Weird though, this is actually my least favorite of the 3D Zelda's, but I'm way more hyped for this game than anything else coming out this holiday. Even the new and original Zelda on 3DS.

hmm I don't remember that island (second post in this thread). looks gorgeous though

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

It's the Private Oasis island. With the cabana and swimming pool on it. The one you can buy (and then it get's renamed to 'Link's Island').

There's a sliding puzzle mini-game inside the house and a secret room behind the fireplace containing a piece of heart.

Dolphin is actually quite CPU demanding if you want to run it with all the bells and whistles
