Forums - Gaming Discussion - What would be your 'Gaming Dream Come True'?

Whether it be a game remade, Sega re-entering the console market, or a cross-over game of your choice... I have a few, here's a couple in order of which would make my gaming dreams come true...

3) Final Fantasy VIII full remake - not a typo, VIII was one of my favorites, but has a lot of room for improvement (such as the crappy draw system)

2) Suikoden 2 being released on PSN - Hope one day this comes true

1) Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 released on PS Vita - God I loved those games

EDIT (honourable mentions):

Tekken (my favorite series since PSone) reduce the over reliance on juggles and bounds - Tekken Revolution has done this! :D

A new Star Wars Battlefront - God I miss it and its happening! :D

Full 3D Street Fighter - With Tekken X Street Fighter still planned, this should happen! :D

ONE I FORGOT IN ORIGINAL LIST

Finally, some SOLID info and news surrounding the release of The LAST GUARDIAN

First of all, great topic. Second of all, I strongly agree with two of your list entries. Would love Suikoden II on PSN -- it costs a fortune elsewhere. And The Last Guardian has been on my most-wanted list for four long years.

Other than that...

1) I'd really like to see a true platforming sequel to Banjo-Tooie

2) More GBA and GCN games on Virtual Console

3) Sequels to Beyond Good & Evil and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II

Around the Network

The following would make me extremely happy:

1) Ultima reboot made by CD Projekt RED and Richard Garriot

2) Half-Life 3 trailer and release date given

3) Wing Commander reboot

- Shenmue 3 or a reboot of the series
- Half Life 3
- Final Fantasy VII/VIII remake
- Chrono Trigger remake
- Zone of the Enders 3
- Lost Odyssey 2
- Yakuza 5 localized for the west
- Sony buys the rights to Crash Bandicoot and makes a new installment to the franchise. And have one of the Naughty Dog teams work on it

- Lost Odyssey 2

Given how Lost Odyssey ended, I'd rather have a spiritual successor. I don't mind the same universe or world, but a new cast and a different storyline would be better I think.

- Sequel to Omikron: The Nomad Soul... (not likely to happen, considering where Cage is heading with game design)
- Proper old school iso sequel to Fallout 1/2, Obsidian and inXile making it together... (never gonna happen, due to Bethesda owning IP)
- SW: TIE Fighter remake, with VR glasses... (this one actually has a chance)
- KOTOR 3, best if Obsidian makes it, this new Bioware is just plain terrible... (I'd say 50-50 to happen)
- Tabletop Volumetric Display console, read: SW Holochess tech... (eventually, it will come)

Hmm yeah.. thats true. Though, they could always do the Final Fantasy thing and use the same name, but the games themselves are have nothing to do with one another (bar the recurring themes, aspects and select character names).

Either way I'd be happy to play the next Mistwalker game.. assuming its that's not a crappy mobile game or some budget affair.

-Paper Mario RPG2 (Thousand Year Door) true sequel or remake in HD
-GC games in eShop
-(Like someone else posted) Xenoblade/FF cross over

Rare going back to Nintendo and simultaneously regaining all the talent it lost over the previous decade or so.

Also, a true sequel to Super Mario 64 structured similar to the original, and a true Banjo 3 to go along with it.

that! i would really love that. a Super Mario 64, Banjoo Kazooi 64 and star fox 64 Sequel would make me VERY interested in buying a nintendo console again, i dont think i would be able to resist.

A spartacus game that is heavily influenced by the startz tv show. same characters/plot/story and amazing gameplay.

An Open world game (that isnt a shooter) that has worlds like these. and they are all connected somehow, not just one map= the entire game

Kingdom Hearts 3 ever coming out

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

1) Xenogears remake
2) Xenogears sequel
3) The 4 Xenogears prequels that were hinted at at the end credits of Xenogears
4) Legend of Dragoon remake
5) Legend of Dragoon sequel or prequel
6) A Star Ocean game that's actually good like 1, 2, or 3 (Fuck you Edge Maverick)
7) A new Suikoden game
8) A good Spider-Man game with the swing mechanics and speed of Spider-Man 2
