Forums - Gaming Discussion - How much % of your game collection is digital?

More than I probably realised myself. Though being a PSplus subscriber for over a year, alot of my digital games are complimants of that. Counting those its probably  30-70% ratio in favour of digital games. Though if you dont include the freebies off Plus, I only have one digital game I paid for, also I dont tend to keep alot of my games I buy on disc once finished I trade them in (why I prefer discs). At present I have 20 disc based games, but over the years I have had 100's at one point or other (maybe even 1000's as I buy a lot of games).

Now on my Vita, that figure probably changes considerably, as aside from Plus games I get for free, I have started buying more digital copies recently as on that console it actually feels beneficial to me to own a digital copy rather than disc based. It means I dont have to carry around all the games for it if I take it somewhere and can boot any game up at a touch of a button.... or screen. I only own 4 games on disc, and havent had many others which I sold on.

PS3: ~40% digital, ~60% retail not counting PS+ games; counting the "free" PS+ games ~80% of my PS3 games are digital.
PS Vita: I only have one retail game (LBP) and that one was packaged with the handheld, but I also didn't buy any digital PS Vita games yet and don't really plan to buy any Vita games (apart from some PS1 classics): The PS+ games I get are enough and I look forward to stream PS4 games to it.
PC: ~60% digital, but most of the retail games I bought more than 10 years ago. I would guess that in the last 5 years >95% of my new games were digital.

My other game systems are 100% retail (or in case of the Ouya 100% digital), so listing them wouldn't make much sense.

About 5 to 10%.

Probably around 5 to 10% over all. But it is more like 50% digital on PC. I prefer to buy AAA games physically and indie games digitally since they don't take long to download. About 20% of my PS3 games are digital and 40% on Vita. I have alot of retro consoles, so overall the % is lower
